Senior Operations Manager - Smart Manufacturing

The Senior Operations Manager will lead digital transformation initiatives in our manufacturing facilities, implementing Industry 4.0 technologies to optimize production efficiency, quality, and sustainability. This role combines operational excellence with technology integration to modernize our manufacturing capabilities.

• Lead implementation of Industry 4.0 initiatives including IoT sensors, predictive maintenance, and digital twin technologies
• Drive operational excellence through lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Manage production planning, capacity optimization, and supply chain coordination for vehicle assembly lines
• Implement MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and integrate with ERP for real-time production visibility
• Oversee quality management systems, ensure compliance with automotive standards (IATF 16949), and drive zero-defect initiatives
• Lead cross-functional teams of 50+ personnel including production, quality, maintenance, and process engineering

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in automotive or heavy engineering industries
• Strong knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies, automation, robotics, and smart manufacturing systems
• Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and operational excellence frameworks
• Experience with MES, ERP systems (SAP preferred), and production planning tools
• Strong leadership skills with track record of managing large teams and driving cultural transformation
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision-making approach
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering; MBA or Master's in Operations Management preferred
