Plant Head

The Plant Head will oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations at our Pune facility, driving operational excellence and strategic growth. This role demands a seasoned leader capable of managing large-scale production, ensuring quality standards, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

• Lead overall plant operations including production planning, scheduling, and execution to meet output targets
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 methodologies
• Manage P&L responsibility for the plant with a focus on cost optimization and profitability
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
• Build and mentor high-performing teams across production, maintenance, quality, and logistics functions
• Collaborate with global counterparts and leadership on capacity planning and new product launches

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering from a premier institute
• Minimum 12 years of experience in manufacturing operations with at least 5 years in plant leadership roles
• Proven track record in automotive or engineering manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, and World Class Manufacturing principles
• Experience managing unions and large workforces (500+ employees)
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to work on-site and handle multi-shift operations
