Senior Backend Engineer - Core Banking

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to work on core banking systems and digital banking platforms. You will build highly secure, scalable systems that process millions of transactions daily.

• Design and develop backend services for core banking operations including accounts, transactions, and payments
• Build APIs and microservices that power digital banking channels (mobile app, internet banking)
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery for mission-critical banking systems
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with banking regulations and standards
• Optimize database performance and handle large-scale transaction processing
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA teams to deliver reliable banking features

• 8+ years of backend development experience, preferably in banking or financial services
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and transaction management
• Knowledge of banking systems, payment gateways, and financial messaging standards (ISO 8583, SWIFT)
• Understanding of security protocols, encryption, and regulatory compliance (PCI-DSS, RBI guidelines)
• Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and caching solutions (Redis)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
