Quality Manager

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance initiatives at our Jamshedpur plant. This role will drive continuous improvement programs, ensure compliance with international quality standards, and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve zero-defect manufacturing.

• Lead plant-wide quality management systems including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 certifications
• Drive Six Sigma and Kaizen initiatives to reduce defects and improve process capability
• Manage quality audits, inspections, and supplier quality development programs
• Analyze quality metrics, prepare executive dashboards, and present findings to senior leadership
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive action (CAPA) systems
• Lead root cause analysis for quality deviations and coordinate with production teams for resolution

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred
• Minimum 8 years of experience in quality management within steel manufacturing or heavy industries
• Strong knowledge of statistical process control, FMEA, and advanced quality tools
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification mandatory
• Experience with SAP QM module and quality management software
• Excellent leadership and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to work in manufacturing plant environment with shift flexibility
