Quality Manager

The Quality Manager will lead quality assurance and control functions for our manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to stringent automotive quality standards. This role is critical to maintaining Maruti Suzuki's reputation for excellence and customer trust.

• Oversee quality assurance and quality control activities across production lines and supplier network
• Drive implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned with IATF 16949 and ISO standards
• Lead root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes
• Monitor key quality metrics including PPM, FTQ, customer complaints, and warranty data
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and suppliers to ensure quality at design and manufacturing stages
• Build and lead a high-performing quality team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in quality management within automotive manufacturing
• Strong expertise in IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA
• Hands-on experience with quality tools including Six Sigma, Kaizen, and problem-solving methodologies
• Proven track record of driving quality improvements and reducing defect rates
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly preferred
