Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee shop floor operations at our Manesar manufacturing plant. This role involves managing production lines, ensuring adherence to production schedules, driving operational efficiency, and maintaining the highest quality standards. You will lead a team of supervisors and operators, implement lean manufacturing practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.

• Manage daily production operations for vehicle assembly lines ensuring timely achievement of production targets
• Lead a team of 100+ shop floor employees including supervisors, line leaders, and operators
• Implement lean manufacturing principles such as Kaizen, 5S, and TPM to improve productivity and eliminate waste
• Monitor production KPIs including cycle time, downtime, OEE, and defect rates to drive continuous improvement
• Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues and minimize disruptions
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental standards, and company policies

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related discipline from a reputed institution
• Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing with at least 5 years in production management
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Proven track record of managing high-volume production operations and leading large teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Proficiency in production planning systems, ERP (SAP preferred), and MS Office
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification in Six Sigma is a strong advantage
