About the Role
We are looking for an accomplished Plant Head to lead our automotive components manufacturing facility in Noida. This role involves complete P&L ownership, production operations, quality management, and strategic planning for a plant employing 800+ workers.
What You Will Be Doing
- Oversee end-to-end plant operations including production planning, scheduling, and execution to meet OEM delivery timelines
- Manage P&L of ₹150+ crore manufacturing facility with accountability for productivity, cost optimization, and profitability
- Implement lean manufacturing principles, 5S methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, and automotive quality standards
- Lead cross-functional teams across production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and HR functions
- Drive safety culture, employee engagement, and talent development initiatives across the plant
What Motherson Sumi Systems Is Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering; MBA is preferred
- Minimum 14 years of experience in automotive manufacturing with at least 6 years in plant leadership roles
- Proven track record of managing high-volume manufacturing operations with 500+ employees
- Strong expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and operational excellence methodologies
- Experience working with Tier-1 automotive OEMs and understanding of automotive supply chain dynamics
- Excellent leadership, people management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, production planning software, and manufacturing analytics
