Production Manager

The Production Manager will oversee manufacturing operations for oral solid dosage forms, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards, production targets, and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong pharmaceutical manufacturing expertise, leadership capabilities, and deep understanding of quality and compliance frameworks.

• Manage end-to-end production operations for oral solid dosage manufacturing facility
• Ensure adherence to production schedules, capacity utilization, and efficiency targets
• Lead a team of supervisors, technicians, and operators across multiple shifts
• Drive compliance with cGMP, FDA, WHO-GMP, and other regulatory requirements
• Implement operational excellence initiatives including lean manufacturing and TPM
• Coordinate with quality, engineering, and supply chain teams for seamless operations

• 8+ years of pharmaceutical production experience with minimum 3 years in managerial capacity
• Strong understanding of oral solid dosage manufacturing processes (tablets, capsules)
• Deep knowledge of cGMP, regulatory requirements, and pharmaceutical quality systems
• Experience managing large production teams and multi-shift operations
• Proven track record in process optimization, waste reduction, and capacity enhancement
• Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with CAPA and deviation management
• B.Pharm/M.Pharm required; Six Sigma certification is an added advantage
