Quality Manager

We are looking for a Quality Manager to lead quality assurance operations for our automotive components division in Pune. This role involves implementing robust quality management systems, driving zero-defect initiatives, and ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements. You will work closely with production, engineering, and customer quality teams to deliver products that meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

• Lead the quality function for automotive components manufacturing ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer quality standards
• Drive quality improvement initiatives including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC for new product introductions
• Manage internal and external audits, customer audits, and certification processes
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes ensuring zero defect delivery to customers
• Investigate customer complaints, conduct 8D problem-solving, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Lead a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians while fostering a culture of quality excellence

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering from a recognized university
• Minimum 9 years of experience in quality management within automotive or precision engineering industries
• Strong expertise in IATF 16949, core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC), and problem-solving methodologies
• Hands-on experience with measuring instruments, CMM, and quality inspection systems
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification is highly desirable
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to manage multi-site quality operations and handle customer escalations
