Quality Manager

The Quality Manager will lead quality assurance and control operations for the passenger vehicle manufacturing facility, ensuring zero-defect production and continuous improvement in quality metrics. This role involves strategic quality planning, team leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Lead plant-wide quality initiatives to achieve PPM (parts per million) targets and customer satisfaction goals
• Manage quality teams including inspection, testing, and process quality engineering functions
• Implement and maintain quality management systems as per ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other automotive standards
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to enhance process capability
• Conduct supplier quality audits and drive improvement programs with vendor partners

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
• 10-14 years of experience in quality management in automotive manufacturing with exposure to passenger vehicles
• Strong knowledge of quality tools including Six Sigma, 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and APQP
• Certification in Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred) and auditor certification for IATF 16949
• Proven track record in leading quality improvement projects and reducing defect rates
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Experience with quality management software and automotive ERP systems
