Quality Manager - Automotive Manufacturing

We are looking for an accomplished Quality Manager to lead quality assurance for our powertrain manufacturing division, ensuring zero-defect production, supplier quality, and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes. This role is critical to maintaining Maruti's reputation for quality and reliability.

• Lead quality assurance for engine and transmission manufacturing lines
• Implement and maintain QMS as per IATF 16949 and Maruti quality standards
• Drive zero-defect initiatives, FMEA, control plans, and statistical process control
• Manage supplier quality development and vendor audit programs
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and R&D teams for quality improvements

• 10-15 years of experience in quality management in automotive manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and automotive quality tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA)
• Experience in powertrain, machining, or assembly operations preferred
• Proven expertise in Six Sigma methodologies (Black Belt preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven approach
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering required
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and leadership capabilities
