Plant Head

As Plant Head, you will oversee the complete operations of a critical manufacturing unit responsible for steel production and processing. You will drive operational efficiency, safety standards, quality control, and team performance while ensuring production targets and cost optimization. This is a strategic leadership role requiring deep manufacturing expertise and people management capabilities.

• Lead end-to-end plant operations ensuring achievement of production targets, quality standards, and safety benchmarks
• Drive operational excellence initiatives, lean manufacturing practices, and continuous improvement programs
• Manage plant P&L, optimize costs, and ensure efficient utilization of resources, equipment, and manpower
• Establish and monitor safety protocols, environmental compliance, and occupational health standards
• Lead cross-functional teams across production, maintenance, quality, logistics, and safety departments
• Implement technology upgrades, automation projects, and capacity enhancement initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum 12 years of experience in steel manufacturing or heavy industries with at least 5 years in plant leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of steel making processes, rolling mills, quality systems, and production planning
• Proven track record of managing large manufacturing operations with 500+ workforce
• Expertise in lean manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and operational excellence methodologies
• Deep understanding of safety management systems, environmental regulations, and ISO standards
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
