Plant Head

We are looking for a dynamic Plant Head to lead our Chennai manufacturing facility producing automotive components and assemblies. This strategic leadership role involves overseeing all plant operations, driving operational excellence, and ensuring achievement of production, quality, safety, and cost targets.

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the entire manufacturing plant with 800+ employees
• Drive production planning, capacity utilization, and achievement of monthly/annual production targets
• Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste
• Ensure compliance with ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards
• Manage plant P&L, budgets, and cost optimization initiatives to improve margins
• Lead cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, logistics, and HR to achieve business objectives

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering; MBA preferred
• Minimum 12 years of experience in manufacturing operations with at least 5 years in plant leadership roles
• Strong expertise in automotive manufacturing processes, assembly lines, and supply chain management
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence through lean manufacturing and TPM methodologies
• Deep knowledge of quality systems, safety standards, and regulatory compliance in manufacturing
• Excellent leadership, people management, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience managing large teams (500+ employees) and multi-shift operations
