Plant Head

The Plant Head will be responsible for end-to-end manufacturing operations of the Pune facility, managing production, quality, maintenance, and safety functions. This critical leadership role requires driving operational excellence while ensuring delivery commitments to major automotive OEM clients.

• Oversee complete plant operations including production planning, quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics for a 1000+ employee facility
• Drive manufacturing excellence initiatives including lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies
• Ensure 100% on-time delivery to OEM customers while maintaining quality standards (PPM < 50)
• Manage plant P&L, budgeting, cost reduction projects, and achieve productivity improvement targets of 8-10% annually
• Lead cross-functional teams for new product launches, capacity expansion, and automation projects
• Ensure compliance with ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, safety regulations, and statutory requirements

• 12-16 years of experience in automotive manufacturing with at least 5 years as Plant Head or Senior Operations role
• Strong background in wiring harness, automotive components, or electrical/electronics manufacturing
• B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering; MBA preferred
• Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, TPM, quality systems, and operational excellence frameworks
• Experience in managing unionized workforce and maintaining strong industrial relations
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, target-driven automotive manufacturing environment
