Plant Head - Manufacturing Operations

The Plant Head will lead all manufacturing operations at the Manesar facility, overseeing production planning, quality assurance, supply chain coordination, and safety compliance. • Lead end-to-end plant operations with responsibility for production targets, quality, and cost management
• Manage a workforce of 2000+ employees including engineers, supervisors, and shop floor teams
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies
• Ensure compliance with ISO, TS16949, environmental, and safety standards
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, R&D, and commercial teams for seamless execution
• Monitor plant performance metrics (OEE, downtime, yield, defect rates) and implement corrective actions

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering; MBA is a strong advantage
• 12+ years in automotive manufacturing with at least 5 years in plant leadership roles
• Proven track record of managing large-scale manufacturing operations with high volume production
• Strong expertise in lean manufacturing, TPM, quality systems, and production planning
• Excellent leadership, people management, and change management capabilities
• Experience in union management and maintaining harmonious industrial relations
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with strong focus on safety and quality
