HR Business Partner - Manufacturing

The HR Business Partner will serve as a strategic partner to the manufacturing leadership team, driving HR initiatives that support business objectives and enhance organizational effectiveness. This role requires a seasoned HR professional with deep manufacturing experience who can handle complex employee relations, drive talent development, and implement people strategies aligned with production goals. You will manage a workforce of 1500+ employees across production, maintenance, and support functions.

• Partner with plant leadership to align HR strategy with manufacturing business goals and operational priorities
• Lead talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development programs for manufacturing functions
• Manage employee relations including union negotiations, grievance handling, and industrial relations matters
• Drive performance management, compensation planning, and retention strategies for critical technical talent
• Implement organizational development initiatives including change management, culture transformation, and employee engagement programs
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, factory regulations, and Tata Code of Conduct across all HR processes

• 8-12 years of HR experience with at least 5 years as HRBP in manufacturing, steel, or heavy industries
• Strong expertise in industrial relations, union management, and handling blue-collar workforce
• Proven track record of driving HR transformations, culture change, and employee engagement initiatives
• Deep knowledge of labor laws, factory acts, and statutory compliance requirements
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence senior leadership
• MBA in HR or equivalent postgraduate degree from a premier institution
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in HRIS systems and HR analytics
