Agency Development Manager

The Agency Development Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a network of insurance agents to drive business growth and market penetration. This role combines sales leadership with people development to build a high-performing agency force.

• Recruit, onboard, and activate 100+ insurance advisors annually to expand agency network
• Design and deliver comprehensive training programs on products, sales techniques, and regulatory compliance
• Drive business targets by mentoring agents and monitoring their sales performance and productivity
• Implement retention strategies to reduce agent attrition and build long-term agency partnerships
• Conduct regular field visits, sales campaigns, and motivational events to boost agent engagement
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to equip agents with competitive market insights

• 7+ years of experience in life insurance with at least 3 years in agency development or sales management
• Proven track record of building and managing large agency networks with consistent business growth
• Strong understanding of life insurance products, IRDAI regulations, and distribution dynamics
• Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
• MBA or equivalent qualification preferred
• IRDA certification for insurance practice (IC-38 mandatory)
• High energy, entrepreneurial mindset, and willingness for extensive field work
