Trade Marketing Manager

The Trade Marketing Manager for South region will develop and execute trade marketing strategies to drive brand visibility, in-store activation, and sales conversion across GT and MT channels. This role requires a strategic mindset combined with strong execution capabilities to deliver ROI on trade spends.

• Design and implement trade marketing plans for Marico's portfolio across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh
• Drive visibility and activation programs at point-of-sale including merchandising, displays, and promotional schemes
• Optimize trade promotion spends achieving ROI of 3:1 while supporting volume growth objectives
• Collaborate with sales teams to design channel-specific strategies for GT, MT, and emerging e-commerce channels
• Conduct market visits, competitive intelligence, and consumer insights to identify opportunities and gaps
• Manage regional trade marketing budget of ₹15-20 crores and track effectiveness through analytics and reporting

• 7-10 years of experience in trade marketing, brand management, or sales in FMCG companies
• Strong understanding of shopper behavior, retail dynamics, and category management principles
• MBA from a reputed business school with marketing specialization
• Proven track record of designing and executing successful trade marketing campaigns
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams including sales, brand, and supply chain
• Proficiency in Nielsen/Kantar data, market research tools, and MS Office suite
