The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, procurement planning, and logistics coordination for our automotive parts and components. This role requires expertise in automotive supply chain management, vendor development, and inventory optimization. The position is critical to ensuring uninterrupted production schedules and cost-effective procurement strategies.

• Manage end-to-end supply chain operations for assigned commodity groups including procurement, vendor management, and logistics
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with tier-1 and tier-2 suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery
• Lead vendor development initiatives, conduct supplier audits, and implement performance improvement plans
• Optimize inventory levels through demand forecasting, just-in-time delivery, and safety stock management
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, negotiation, and process improvements
• Collaborate with production planning, quality, and engineering teams to resolve supply chain issues and support new model launches

• B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering; MBA in Supply Chain/Operations preferred
• Minimum 9+ years of experience in automotive supply chain management with expertise in procurement and vendor management
• Strong knowledge of automotive components, manufacturing processes, and quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO certifications)
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP MM module preferred) and supply chain analytics tools
• Proven negotiation skills with track record of achieving cost savings and supplier performance improvements
• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Willingness to travel to supplier locations across India for audits and business reviews
