Senior Product Manager - Payments Platform

PhonePe is India's leading digital payments platform with over 450 million registered users and 35 million merchant partners. As a Walmart-owned fintech unicorn, PhonePe processes billions of transactions monthly and is expanding into insurance, wealth management, and lending.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to own and scale key payment products including UPI, wallet, and merchant payment solutions. You will define product strategy, drive user growth, and work with engineering teams to launch innovative payment experiences for millions of users.

• Define and execute product roadmap for core payment products driving millions of daily transactions
• Analyze user behavior, payment flows, and transaction data to identify opportunities for optimization and growth
• Collaborate with engineering, design, operations, and business teams to launch new payment features
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of fintech trends and user expectations
• Own end-to-end product metrics including adoption, retention, transaction success rates, and revenue
• Partner with regulatory, compliance, and risk teams to ensure payment products meet industry standards

• 7+ years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, payments, or consumer internet
• Proven track record of launching and scaling products with millions of users
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and product analytics tools
• Deep understanding of payment ecosystems including UPI, cards, wallets, and merchant acquiring
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Data-driven decision-making approach with strong business acumen
• BTech/MBA from premier institutions preferred; certifications in product management are a plus
