About the Role
The Regional Sales Head will lead sales and distribution strategy for South India, managing a team of 100+ sales professionals and ensuring market penetration and revenue growth. This leadership role requires deep FMCG expertise and the ability to drive execution excellence.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead sales and distribution operations across South India covering Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh
- Drive revenue growth and market share gains across key categories exceeding annual targets of ₹250 crore
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and distribution expansion
- Manage relationships with distributors, modern trade partners, and key retail accounts
- Lead a team of Area Sales Managers, Territory Managers, and sales executives, driving performance and capability building
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to optimize trade promotions and inventory management
What Hindustan Unilever Limited Is Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA from premier institution is highly preferred
- 11+ years of FMCG sales experience with at least 5 years in regional leadership roles
- Proven track record of managing P&L responsibility and achieving sales targets in excess of ₹200 crore
- Strong expertise in distribution management, modern trade, and general trade operations
- Excellent leadership and people management skills with experience leading large teams
- Deep understanding of South Indian markets, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with proficiency in sales analytics tools
