We are seeking an experienced Medical Superintendent to provide strategic and operational leadership for our 500-bed multi-specialty tertiary care hospital in Chennai. This senior leadership position involves ensuring clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency while fostering a culture of patient safety and quality care.

• Provide overall medical and administrative leadership for hospital operations including clinical services, nursing, diagnostics, and support services
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including NABH, JCI, and statutory requirements from health authorities
• Drive quality and patient safety initiatives, clinical protocols, and continuous improvement programs
• Manage hospital budgets, resource allocation, and operational metrics to optimize financial and clinical performance
• Lead medical staff credentialing, clinical audits, and mortality-morbidity reviews ensuring highest standards of care
• Collaborate with department heads, corporate leadership, and external stakeholders to align hospital strategy with organizational goals

• MBBS with MD/MS in clinical specialty; MBA or healthcare management qualification preferred
• 15+ years of progressive experience in clinical and hospital administration with at least 5 years in superintendent/director roles
• Strong knowledge of hospital accreditation standards (NABH/JCI), clinical governance, and healthcare regulations
• Proven track record of managing multi-specialty hospitals with 300+ beds and complex clinical operations
• Excellent leadership, crisis management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
• Deep understanding of healthcare quality frameworks, patient safety protocols, and risk management
• Strong financial acumen with experience in hospital P&L management and budgeting
