Principal Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to build next-generation AI systems for search, recommendation, and personalization serving hundreds of millions of customers. You will lead strategic ML initiatives, architect large-scale ML infrastructure, and drive innovation across product verticals.

• Lead the design and development of advanced ML systems for product search, ranking, and recommendation engines
• Architect scalable ML infrastructure and feature platforms supporting real-time inference for 450M+ users
• Drive innovation in computer vision, NLP, and deep learning to enhance customer experience across the platform
• Collaborate with product teams to identify ML opportunities and translate business problems into ML solutions
• Establish MLOps best practices, model monitoring frameworks, and experimentation platforms
• Mentor senior ML engineers and data scientists while promoting research culture and publishing at top-tier conferences

• 8+ years of experience in machine learning engineering with proven track record of deploying ML at scale
• Deep expertise in deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), NLP, computer vision, and recommendation systems
• Strong programming skills in Python with experience building production-grade ML systems
• Hands-on experience with distributed computing frameworks (Spark, Ray) and ML infrastructure (Kubeflow, MLflow)
• Track record of publications at top-tier ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, KDD) or significant ML product impact
• Experience with A/B testing, causal inference, and experimentation in large-scale consumer applications
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field from top-tier institutions
