Internal Auditor - Operations & Finance

The Internal Auditor will conduct risk-based audits of business operations, financial processes, and compliance frameworks across TCS India operations. This role requires strong audit methodology expertise and ability to identify control gaps and process improvements.

• Plan and execute operational, financial, and compliance audits across TCS business units and delivery centers
• Assess effectiveness of internal controls, risk management frameworks, and governance processes
• Identify control deficiencies, process gaps, and recommend remedial actions to management
• Conduct fraud investigations, special audits, and management-requested reviews
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings, risk ratings, and actionable recommendations
• Track closure of audit observations and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions

• 7-10 years of internal audit experience in IT/ITES, consulting, or financial services sectors
• CA/ICWA/MBA Finance with certifications like CIA, CISA, or CFE strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, internal controls frameworks (COSO, SOX), and risk assessment
• Experience auditing revenue recognition, billing, accounts receivable, and financial close processes
• Proficiency in audit tools, data analytics (ACL, IDEA), and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
• Excellent report writing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple audit assignments simultaneously
