Credit Manager

We are looking for an experienced Credit Manager to lead the SME and corporate lending portfolio for the NCR region, focusing on credit assessment, risk mitigation, and portfolio growth. This role involves evaluating complex credit proposals, structuring financing solutions, and managing relationships with mid-market corporate clients. You will work closely with relationship managers and senior leadership to drive profitable lending growth.

• Evaluate and approve credit proposals for SME and mid-corporate clients with exposure ranging from ₹5 crores to ₹50 crores
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, cash flow projections, and risk assessment for term loans, working capital, and trade finance facilities
• Structure customized lending solutions aligned with client needs and bank's risk appetite
• Monitor portfolio quality, conduct periodic reviews, and implement early warning systems for stressed accounts
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, internal credit policies, and regulatory frameworks
• Collaborate with business teams, legal, and operations to streamline credit approval processes and turnaround time

• 9-13 years of experience in corporate/SME credit, credit analysis, or commercial lending within banking sector
• Strong expertise in financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, and loan structuring
• In-depth knowledge of banking products including term loans, working capital, LC/BG, and structured finance
• Excellent understanding of RBI regulations, credit rating frameworks, and security documentation
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, or MBA in Finance from reputed institutions
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in credit evaluation tools, financial modeling, and core banking systems
