Cloud Architect - AWS Infrastructure

We are seeking an exceptional Cloud Architect to design and scale our AWS infrastructure supporting mission-critical payment systems handling millions of transactions daily. This role requires deep expertise in cloud architecture, security, and reliability engineering to build highly available, secure, and cost-optimized infrastructure. You will work on challenging problems in distributed systems, compliance, and performance optimization.

• Architect and design highly available, scalable, and secure AWS infrastructure for payment processing workloads
• Lead cloud strategy including multi-region deployments, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
• Implement security best practices, compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001), and data protection measures
• Drive infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure-as-code
• Optimize cloud costs, resource utilization, and performance through monitoring, analysis, and architectural improvements
• Mentor DevOps and infrastructure teams, establish standards, and drive adoption of cloud-native technologies

• 8-12 years of experience in cloud infrastructure with at least 4 years in AWS architecture and design
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent advanced certifications required
• Deep expertise in AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, and networking
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, security frameworks, and compliance standards
• Proven track record of architecting large-scale systems handling high-volume traffic and transactions
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to design solutions balancing performance, cost, and security
