We are seeking a Claims Manager to oversee the end-to-end claims operations for our health and motor insurance portfolios in the South region. This role involves managing a team of claims assessors, ensuring timely claim settlements, mitigating fraud, and enhancing customer satisfaction. You will play a critical role in maintaining operational excellence while balancing cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.

• Manage and oversee daily claims operations for health and motor insurance with focus on TAT and quality
• Lead a team of 15-20 claims assessors, surveyors, and investigators ensuring productivity and accuracy
• Review and approve high-value and complex claims requiring senior management authorization
• Implement fraud detection mechanisms and conduct investigations on suspicious claims
• Monitor claims ratios, loss trends, and reserve adequacy to support actuarial and underwriting teams
• Ensure full compliance with IRDAI regulations, company policies, and service level agreements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; MBA or professional qualification in insurance preferred
• Minimum 8 years of experience in general insurance claims management with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Deep understanding of health and motor insurance claims processing, settlement procedures, and legal aspects
• Strong knowledge of IRDAI guidelines, Motor Vehicles Act, and Consumer Protection Act
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to identify fraud patterns and control leakages
• Proven people management skills with experience leading and developing claims teams
• Proficiency in claims management systems and MS Office applications
