About the Role
The Wealth Manager will provide holistic financial planning and investment advisory services to HNI clients with investable assets of ₹1 Cr+, driving AUM growth and deepening client relationships. This role requires expertise in financial markets, investment products, and wealth structuring to deliver customized solutions. You will manage a portfolio of 60-80 HNI clients and work towards ambitious revenue and AUM targets.
What You Will Be Doing
- Acquire and manage relationships with HNI clients, providing comprehensive wealth management and financial planning services
- Conduct detailed financial needs analysis and recommend appropriate asset allocation strategies across equities, debt, mutual funds, PMS, and structured products
- Drive AUM growth and achieve revenue targets through cross-selling of investment products, insurance, and banking solutions
- Monitor client portfolios, provide regular performance reviews, and rebalance based on market conditions and client objectives
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and new investment products to provide informed advisory
- Ensure compliance with KYC norms, suitability requirements, and regulatory guidelines in all client interactions
What Kotak Mahindra Bank Is Looking For
- MBA in Finance or CFA/CFP certification with 8+ years in wealth management or investment advisory
- Proven track record of managing HNI client relationships and achieving AUM and revenue targets in private banking
- Deep knowledge of financial markets, investment products including equities, bonds, mutual funds, PMS, and alternative investments
- Strong relationship management and consultative selling skills with ability to build trust with affluent clients
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to simplify complex financial concepts
- Self-motivated professional with strong networking abilities and existing HNI relationships preferred
- NISM certifications (Series V-A, Series X-B) mandatory; additional certifications in mutual funds and insurance desirable
