Category Manager

We are hiring a Category Manager for our Home & Furniture vertical to drive category strategy, vendor partnerships, and revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a passion for building world-class customer experiences.

• Own P&L for the Home & Furniture category with revenues exceeding ₹500 crore annually
• Develop and execute category strategy including assortment planning, pricing, and promotions
• Onboard and manage relationships with 200+ vendors and brand partners
• Analyze customer insights, market trends, and competitive landscape to drive merchandising decisions
• Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and tech teams to optimize customer acquisition and conversion
• Lead festive sales planning and execution, driving 3x growth during Big Billion Days

• 7+ years of experience in category management, merchandising, or buying in e-commerce/retail
• MBA from a Tier-1 B-school (IIM/ISB/XLRI) preferred
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools
• Proven track record of managing large categories with multi-crore revenues
• Deep understanding of online consumer behavior, marketplace dynamics, and digital marketing
• Excellent negotiation skills and vendor management experience
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
