Trade Marketing Manager

We are seeking an experienced Trade Marketing Manager to drive trade strategies and execution across modern trade and general trade channels in East India. You will be responsible for developing visibility programs, managing distributor partnerships, and optimizing trade spends to maximize market share and profitability.

• Develop and execute comprehensive trade marketing strategies to drive distribution, visibility, and offtake across GT and MT channels
• Design and implement promotional programs, schemes, and merchandising initiatives to enhance brand visibility at point of sale
• Manage trade marketing budgets, analyze ROI of trade spends, and optimize allocation across channels and geographies
• Collaborate with sales teams to align trade initiatives with sales objectives and ensure effective execution
• Conduct market intelligence and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and refine trade strategies
• Build strong partnerships with key distributors, retailers, and channel partners to drive mutual growth

• MBA in Marketing or related field from recognized business school
• 8+ years of experience in trade marketing or sales in FMCG companies with strong understanding of distribution
• Proven expertise in managing trade marketing across general trade and modern trade channels
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable strategies
• Experience in managing significant trade marketing budgets and demonstrating ROI impact
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage relationships with distributors and key retail partners
• Willingness to travel extensively across East India territories
