SOC Lead - Security Operations

The SOC Lead will manage Tech Mahindra's Security Operations Center operations for enterprise clients, leading a team of security analysts in threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring. This leadership role requires deep technical expertise, strong incident management capabilities, and excellent client relationship skills.

• Lead 24/7 SOC operations managing a team of 25+ security analysts across shifts handling security monitoring and incident response
• Oversee threat detection, analysis, and incident management using SIEM platforms like Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight
• Develop and refine security use cases, correlation rules, and threat hunting playbooks to improve detection capabilities
• Manage security incidents from detection through containment, eradication, and recovery following incident response procedures
• Conduct root cause analysis for major security incidents and implement preventive measures
• Interface with clients for security incident reporting, trend analysis, and continuous security improvement initiatives

• 9-14 years of cybersecurity experience with at least 4 years in SOC leadership or security operations management roles
• Deep expertise in SIEM platforms, security monitoring tools, and threat intelligence platforms
• Strong knowledge of cyber threats, attack vectors, and incident response methodologies
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GCIH, or equivalent security certifications
• Experience managing security operations for enterprise clients preferably in BFSI, technology, or critical infrastructure sectors
• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, IT, or related field; M.Tech or relevant master's degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
