Information Security Analyst

This Information Security Analyst position is critical to safeguarding the bank's digital infrastructure, customer data, and financial transactions. The role involves threat detection, incident response, security monitoring, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations and security frameworks.

• Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools to detect and respond to cyber threats and incidents
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits across banking applications and infrastructure
• Implement and manage security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, and endpoint protection systems
• Lead incident response activities including investigation, containment, remediation, and post-incident analysis
• Ensure compliance with RBI cybersecurity guidelines, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and other regulatory requirements
• Develop security policies, procedures, and conduct security awareness training for employees

• 7+ years of experience in information security with focus on banking or financial services sector
• Strong knowledge of security technologies including SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, and vulnerability management tools
• Experience with threat intelligence, security monitoring, and incident response processes
• Understanding of banking security regulations including RBI guidelines, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or OSCP preferred
• Proficiency in security assessment tools, scripting languages (Python/PowerShell), and cloud security
• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related field; certifications in cybersecurity highly valued
