About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Credit Manager to evaluate and manage corporate and SME lending portfolios. This role involves credit appraisal, risk assessment, and relationship management for mid-market and large corporate clients.
What You Will Be Doing
- Conduct comprehensive credit analysis and due diligence for corporate and SME loan proposals ranging from ₹5 crores to ₹100 crores
- Evaluate financial statements, cash flow projections, collateral valuations, and business viability assessments
- Prepare detailed credit reports and present recommendations to Credit Committee
- Monitor portfolio health, early warning signals, and conduct periodic reviews of sanctioned facilities
- Structure customized lending solutions including term loans, working capital, trade finance, and structured products
- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, internal credit policies, and risk management frameworks
What HDFC Bank Is Looking For
- CA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institution
- Minimum 11 years of experience in corporate credit, SME lending, or commercial banking
- Strong expertise in financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and loan structuring
- In-depth knowledge of banking regulations, security documentation, and recovery mechanisms
- Experience managing loan portfolios exceeding ₹500 crores with strong NPA track record
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with corporate clients
- Proficiency in credit rating models, financial modeling, and banking software systems
