The Senior Design Engineer - Structural will be responsible for structural design and engineering solutions for large-scale infrastructure and building projects across L&T's diverse portfolio. • Lead structural design and analysis for complex infrastructure projects including high-rise buildings, bridges, and industrial structures
• Perform advanced structural modeling using software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, and Tekla Structures
• Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, and design reports ensuring compliance with IS codes and international standards
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and construction teams to ensure design feasibility and constructability
• Conduct design optimization studies to achieve material efficiency while maintaining structural integrity and safety
• Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and conduct design review meetings with project stakeholders

• 9-14 years of experience in structural design engineering within construction, infrastructure, or consulting firms
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree in Structural Engineering highly preferred
• Proficiency in structural analysis software including STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD, and Revit/Tekla
• Strong knowledge of Indian Standards (IS codes) and international design codes (ACI, BS, Eurocode)
• Experience in designing RCC, steel, and composite structures for buildings, bridges, or industrial facilities
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and commitment to quality engineering deliverables
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams
