The Senior Design Engineer - HVAC will lead mechanical design activities for large infrastructure and commercial projects, focusing on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves detailed engineering, coordination with multiple disciplines, and ensuring compliance with international standards. You will work on prestigious projects including airports, metros, hospitals, and high-rise buildings.

• Develop detailed HVAC designs including load calculations, equipment selection, duct sizing, and piping layouts for commercial and infrastructure projects
• Prepare technical specifications, BOQ, and tender documents for HVAC systems and equipment procurement
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and electrical teams to resolve design interfaces and clashes
• Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with Indian and international codes (ASHRAE, NBC, ISHRAE standards)
• Supervise junior engineers and CAD designers, review drawings, and ensure quality deliverables
• Support project execution teams during construction phase with technical clarifications and site support

• 7+ years of experience in HVAC design for commercial buildings, airports, metros, or industrial facilities
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution
• Strong proficiency in HVAC design software including HAP, Trane Trace, or similar load calculation tools
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP for creating detailed mechanical drawings and BIM coordination
• Thorough knowledge of ASHRAE standards, NBC codes, and green building requirements (LEED/GRIHA)
• Excellent understanding of chiller plants, AHUs, VAV systems, and building automation systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary project teams
