Quality Manager

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality assurance initiatives across our Jamshedpur manufacturing plant. This role will drive continuous improvement programs, ensure ISO compliance, and manage a team of quality engineers to maintain world-class production standards.

• Lead the quality assurance function for manufacturing operations ensuring adherence to ISO 9001, TS 16949 and other quality standards
• Develop and implement quality control procedures, inspection protocols, and testing methodologies for steel production processes
• Manage a team of 15+ QA/QC engineers and technicians, providing mentorship and performance guidance
• Drive root cause analysis for quality deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and optimize process parameters
• Prepare quality metrics dashboards, conduct management reviews, and present quality performance to senior leadership

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred
• Minimum 8 years of experience in quality management within steel, metals, or heavy manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949) and Six Sigma methodologies
• Proven experience in leading quality teams and managing multi-functional improvement projects
• Expertise in statistical process control (SPC), failure mode effects analysis (FMEA), and quality tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making approach
• Six Sigma Black Belt or ASQ Certified Quality Manager certification highly preferred
