Principal Software Architect

We are seeking a Principal Software Architect to lead the design and evolution of our core platform architecture. This role will drive technical strategy for high-scale distributed systems serving millions of daily transactions. You will work with cross-functional teams to architect solutions that balance innovation with operational excellence.

• Define and drive the technical architecture vision for core e-commerce platform components
• Lead architectural reviews and provide guidance on system design, scalability, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Mentor senior engineers and architects across multiple teams on best practices and design patterns
• Establish and enforce architectural standards, coding guidelines, and technical governance frameworks
• Drive innovation through POCs, technology evaluations, and adoption of emerging technologies

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 4 years in architecture roles
• Deep expertise in microservices architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native technologies
• Strong programming skills in Java, Golang, or similar languages with system design expertise
• Proven experience architecting high-scale systems handling millions of transactions per day
• Excellent understanding of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL), caching, messaging systems
• Strong communication skills with ability to influence technical decisions across the organization
• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related field from premier institutions
