Engineering Manager - Full Stack

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of 8-10 full-stack engineers building consumer-facing features for Swiggy's core food delivery platform. You will own the technical roadmap, drive execution, and scale engineering practices while ensuring exceptional user experiences for millions of customers.

• Lead and mentor a team of 8-10 full-stack engineers, providing technical guidance and career development
• Define technical roadmap and architecture for consumer-facing features on Swiggy's platform
• Drive agile development practices, sprint planning, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Establish engineering best practices, code quality standards, and conduct architectural reviews
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to scale for millions of concurrent users

• 9+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in engineering management or tech lead roles
• Strong full-stack development experience with modern frameworks (React, Node.js, Java/Python)
• Proven experience building and scaling consumer-facing applications serving millions of users
• Deep understanding of system design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), databases (SQL/NoSQL), and caching technologies
• Excellent people management skills with ability to hire, mentor, and grow engineering teams
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with product and business stakeholders
