Data Scientist - Machine Learning

We are looking for a Data Scientist to build and deploy machine learning models that optimize delivery operations, improve demand forecasting, and enhance customer experiences. This role requires strong ML expertise and the ability to translate business problems into data solutions.

• Design and implement ML models for demand forecasting, route optimization, and delivery time prediction
• Build recommendation systems to personalize food and grocery discovery for users
• Develop fraud detection and anomaly detection algorithms to improve platform integrity
• Work with large-scale datasets (petabytes) using Spark, Hive, and cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to deploy models in production
• Conduct A/B experiments and measure impact of ML interventions on key business metrics

• 6+ years of experience in data science with strong focus on machine learning and deep learning
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost)
• Hands-on experience with building and deploying production ML systems at scale
• Strong foundation in statistics, optimization, and algorithms
• Experience with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, and SQL
• M.Tech/PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative fields preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced startup environment
