Cloud Architect

The Cloud Architect will design and implement highly scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure to support Razorpay's rapidly growing payment platform. This critical role involves architecting multi-cloud solutions, optimizing costs, and ensuring 99.99% uptime for mission-critical systems. You will mentor engineering teams and drive cloud adoption best practices.

• Design and architect highly available, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP
• Lead cloud migration initiatives and modernization of legacy systems
• Define and implement cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks
• Optimize cloud costs through resource management and architectural improvements
• Build automation frameworks for infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and CloudFormation
• Mentor DevOps and platform engineering teams on cloud-native architectures

• 9+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure with at least 3 years in architecture roles
• Deep expertise in AWS and GCP services including compute, storage, networking, and security
• Strong experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and microservices architecture
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability tools
• Experience with fintech or high-transaction platforms preferred
• Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, GCP Professional Architect) highly desirable
