Claims Manager

The Claims Manager will oversee the end-to-end claims operations for the Motor and Health insurance portfolios, ensuring efficient processing, fraud detection, and customer satisfaction. This role requires deep technical expertise in claims management combined with strong leadership and process optimization skills.

• Manage and lead a team of 40+ claims processors, surveyors, and investigators for Motor and Health claims
• Ensure TAT compliance, claims settlement ratios, and customer satisfaction metrics are consistently achieved
• Implement fraud detection mechanisms and work with investigation teams to minimize fraudulent claims
• Drive process automation and digitization initiatives to improve claims processing efficiency by 25-30%
• Monitor claims reserves, loss ratios, and work with underwriting teams on portfolio profitability
• Handle complex claim escalations, litigation matters, and maintain relationships with TPAs and hospitals

• 9-12 years of experience in general insurance claims with at least 4 years in managerial capacity
• Strong technical knowledge of Motor and Health insurance claims, policy wordings, and regulatory guidelines
• AIII (Associate of Insurance Institute of India) certification is mandatory
• Proven track record of managing large claims teams and achieving operational excellence
• Experience with claims management systems, fraud analytics, and process automation tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
• Strong communication skills with ability to handle customer escalations and stakeholder management
