About the Role
We are looking for an Academic Head to lead the K12 curriculum development team for Mathematics and Science across grades 6-10. This role involves designing pedagogically sound content, ensuring alignment with CBSE/ICSE/State boards, and maintaining academic excellence across all learning products.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead curriculum design and content development for K12 Mathematics and Science programs aligned with national and state boards
- Manage a team of subject matter experts, curriculum designers, and content creators to deliver high-quality learning materials
- Ensure pedagogical rigor and academic accuracy across video lessons, practice questions, and assessment content
- Collaborate with product, technology, and animation teams to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
- Conduct regular content audits, incorporate learner feedback, and continuously improve curriculum effectiveness
- Stay updated with educational trends, board syllabus changes, and competitive landscape to maintain market leadership
What BYJU'S Is Looking For
- 8-12 years of experience in academic content development, curriculum design, or teaching in K12 education
- Master's degree or higher in Mathematics, Science, or Education from a reputed institution
- Deep understanding of CBSE, ICSE, and State board curricula with expertise in pedagogical frameworks
- Proven experience in leading content teams and managing large-scale curriculum projects
- Strong subject matter expertise in Mathematics and/or Science for middle and secondary school levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Experience in EdTech or digital content creation is highly preferred
