Senior Research Associate - Equity Research

The Senior Research Associate will conduct in-depth equity research on Indian companies across assigned sectors, providing actionable insights to global institutional clients. This role requires strong financial analysis skills, sector expertise, and ability to produce high-quality research reports.

• Conduct fundamental equity research on mid-cap and large-cap Indian companies across BFSI, Consumer, or Industrial sectors
• Build detailed financial models including DCF, comparable company analysis, and scenario planning
• Publish sector reports, company initiation notes, quarterly earnings updates, and thematic research pieces
• Interact with company management teams, industry experts, and channel partners to gather primary insights
• Present research findings to global institutional clients including hedge funds, mutual funds, and investment banks
• Track sector trends, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors impacting coverage universe

• MBA in Finance or CA/CFA with strong academic credentials
• Minimum 6 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or portfolio management
• Deep understanding of financial statement analysis, valuation methodologies, and accounting principles
• Sector expertise in BFSI, Consumer Goods, Pharmaceuticals, or Industrial Manufacturing preferred
• Excellent financial modeling skills using Excel and proficiency with Bloomberg/Reuters
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate investment theses clearly
• Self-driven with ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables
