Senior Product Manager - Consumer Payments

PhonePe is India's leading digital payments platform with over 450 million registered users and 35+ million merchant partners. As a Walmart-backed fintech unicorn, PhonePe processes billions of transactions monthly and is expanding into financial services, insurance, and wealth management.

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive the evolution of PhonePe's core payments experience, shaping how millions of Indians transact daily. You'll own critical product initiatives from conception to launch, working at the intersection of technology, design, and business strategy.

• Own and drive product strategy for PhonePe's consumer payments platform serving 450M+ users
• Define product roadmap, prioritize features, and drive execution across engineering, design, and business teams
• Conduct deep user research, data analysis, and A/B testing to optimize payment success rates and user experience
• Collaborate with growth, marketing, and partnerships teams to drive user acquisition and engagement
• Monitor product metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive rapid experimentation
• Work closely with regulatory, compliance, and risk teams to ensure safe and compliant payment experiences

• 7+ years of product management experience with 3+ years in consumer-facing digital products
• Strong track record of launching and scaling products used by millions of users
• Deep understanding of payments ecosystem, UPI, and digital financial services in India
• Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude)
• Experience with experimentation frameworks, user research methodologies, and data-driven decision making
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA from top-tier institution preferred
