Senior ML Engineer - NLP

We are seeking a Senior ML Engineer specializing in Natural Language Processing to build cutting-edge recommendation systems, search algorithms, and conversational AI solutions. This role will directly impact millions of customers through advanced NLP applications.

• Design and develop scalable NLP models for search ranking, query understanding, and product recommendations
• Build and optimize large language models for customer support chatbots and voice assistants
• Collaborate with product teams to identify ML opportunities and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Implement end-to-end ML pipelines including data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment
• Research and implement state-of-the-art NLP techniques including transformers, BERT, and GPT architectures
• Mentor junior ML engineers and establish best practices for model development and deployment

• 6+ years of experience in machine learning with strong focus on NLP and deep learning
• Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and NLP libraries like spaCy, Hugging Face, NLTK
• Strong understanding of transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, and pre-trained language models
• Experience deploying ML models at scale in production environments
• M.Tech/PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field from premier institutions preferred
• Publications in top-tier ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, EMNLP) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced agile environments
