Senior DevOps Engineering Manager

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineering Manager to lead our infrastructure and platform engineering teams, ensuring 99.99% uptime for our mission-critical payment systems. This role requires a strategic thinker who can build robust, scalable infrastructure while fostering a culture of automation and operational excellence.

• Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 DevOps engineers responsible for infrastructure, CI/CD, and platform reliability
• Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant infrastructure on AWS to support billions of transactions
• Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and modern DevOps practices across engineering teams
• Establish SLOs, SLIs, and monitoring frameworks to ensure optimal system performance and reliability
• Own the incident management process and lead post-mortem analyses to continuously improve system resilience
• Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain compliance standards (PCI-DSS, ISO, SOC2)

• 9+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE with at least 3 years in engineering management
• Deep expertise in AWS cloud services, Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration at scale
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
• Proven experience managing mission-critical systems with high availability and low latency requirements
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), and observability practices
• Experience in fintech or regulated industries with knowledge of compliance requirements is a plus
• Excellent leadership skills with ability to mentor engineers and drive technical initiatives
