Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to build scalable, high-performance systems that power India's payment infrastructure. You will work on critical services handling millions of transactions per day and contribute to architectural decisions. This role offers the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges at massive scale.

• Design and develop robust, scalable backend services using Java, Go, or Node.js
• Build and optimize APIs that handle high-throughput payment processing with low latency
• Architect microservices and distributed systems ensuring high availability and fault tolerance
• Collaborate with product managers and frontend engineers to deliver end-to-end features
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for production services
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain engineering excellence

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 6+ years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in Java, Go, Python, or Node.js
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching systems (Redis, Memcached)
• Strong knowledge of system design, data structures, and algorithm optimization
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced startup environment
