Quality Manager

The Quality Manager will oversee all quality assurance and quality control activities at the Pune manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with international standards and customer specifications. This role is critical to maintaining Tata Steel's reputation for delivering world-class steel products.

• Lead quality management systems including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other relevant certifications
• Develop and implement quality control processes, inspection protocols, and testing methodologies
• Manage quality audits, non-conformance investigations, and corrective/preventive action programs
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to drive quality improvements and reduce defects
• Analyze quality metrics, prepare management reports, and drive data-driven decision-making
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean, and other quality methodologies

• 9+ years of experience in quality management within steel, metals, or heavy manufacturing industries
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, statistical process control, and quality tools
• Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or equivalent quality certifications and audits
• Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools
