Quality Assurance Head

We are hiring a Quality Assurance Head for our Pune manufacturing plant producing SUVs and commercial vehicles. This senior leadership role involves establishing quality excellence across manufacturing operations, supplier quality management, and implementing world-class quality systems.

• Lead quality assurance functions across vehicle assembly, body shop, paint shop, and engine manufacturing
• Implement advanced quality management systems including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and Six Sigma methodologies
• Drive supplier quality improvement programs and manage quality audits across vendor base
• Establish statistical process control systems, defect prevention frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage quality planning for new model launches including APQP, PPAP, and FMEA processes
• Lead warranty analytics, customer complaint resolution, and corrective/preventive action programs

• 12+ years of quality management experience in automotive manufacturing with at least 5 years in leadership roles
• B.Tech in Mechanical/Production Engineering; Six Sigma Black Belt certification mandatory
• Deep expertise in quality tools (SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plans) and automotive quality standards
• Strong understanding of vehicle manufacturing processes and supply chain quality management
• Proven track record of reducing PPM defects and improving first-time quality metrics
• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional quality teams of 100+ members
• Strong data analysis capabilities and proficiency in quality management software
