Lead Data Scientist - Machine Learning

We're looking for a Lead Data Scientist to drive machine learning initiatives that directly impact customer experience and business metrics. This role will involve building recommendation systems, personalization engines, and predictive models at scale.

• Lead end-to-end development of ML models for personalization, search ranking, and recommendation systems
• Design and execute A/B experiments to validate model performance and measure business impact
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy models into production at scale
• Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices for model development and deployment
• Drive innovation through research on latest ML techniques and their application to e-commerce problems
• Present insights and model outcomes to senior leadership and influence product strategy

• 8+ years of experience in data science with strong focus on machine learning and deep learning
• M.Tech/PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field from premier institutions
• Proven expertise in building production-grade ML systems handling millions of users
• Strong programming skills in Python with proficiency in ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn
• Deep understanding of recommendation systems, NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning
• Experience with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with track record of delivering measurable business impact
